Come celebrate 25 years of the Catholic Mission to Emporia State University!

We thought 25 years was worth celebrating, and we hope you do, too. Our Rededication will be a time to reunite with old friends and reconnect with the mission to higher education. You'll have a chance to meet our current students as well as to catch up on the ways God is raising up a generation of Catholic missionary disciples on campus!

SCHEDULE

Mass at 4 p.m. with the Most Reverend Joseph F. Naumann, Archbishop of Kansas City in Kansas presiding. Also present will be Father Bill Porter, the chaplain who was present at the first dedication of the Didde Center 25 years ago, former chaplains Father Jerry Volz and Father Ray May, and the current chaplain, Father Nick Blaha. The Mass will satisfy the Sunday obligation.
After Mass, we'll move to the recently renovated Webb Hall in the ESU Memorial Union for drinks and heavy hors d'ouevres, and a free-flowing evening to reconnect with familiar faces.
A short program at 7:30 p.m. will feature figures both past and present that are so important to the mission of the Didde Catholic Campus Center--faculty, alumni, students, benefactors, and chaplains.
At 8:30 p.m., we'll loosen up and enjoy a DJ and dance--featuring some of our students who have been practicing their swing dance moves all semester long!

CHILD CARE

Free VIRTUS-certified child care available for kids of all ages, provided by current DCCC students
Food provided (there will be a chance to note any allergies or dietary concerns when you register)
We'll open up DCCC for children's activities, but there will also be a room in the Memorial Union where younger children can be close to the evening's activities
